AIM OF THE DEPARTMENT

The aim of the Department is to give the learners a sound understanding of the subject. The learners would develop an understanding of chemistry. The programme offers an opportunity to learners for higher studies in chemistry.

 

Besides offering the core courses available in other universities. it includes themes in some of the emerging areas of chemistry that are expected to be extremely useful in the present scenario of economic liberalization and globalization.
